Converting Stock
| How to Convert Stock | |

Use Convert Stock when you need to turn one product into another, such as converting bulk flower into pre-rolls or converting A buds into lower-priced B buds. Before starting, make sure the quantity you want to convert is in stock and not yet assigned to inventory jars.

| 1. Prepare the Product for Conversion | |
| a. | Open the Products page and locate the product you want to convert. |
| b. | Confirm that the quantity you want to convert is in stock. |
| c. | If the product is currently in inventory and not in stock, transfer it back to stock before continuing. For help with that process, see How to Make Adjustments. |
| 2. Open the Convert Stock Window | |
| a. | Click the small icon next to the batch number for the product you want to convert. |
| b. | On the details page, click Convert Stock. |
| c. | The first box shows what you are converting from, and the second box shows what you are converting into. |
| 3. Select or Create the Product You Are Converting Into | |
| a. | If the destination product already exists, select it from the list. |
| b. | If the destination product does not exist yet, click Create New Product. |
| c. | Enter the new product name, select the correct new category, and click Create Product. |
| 4. Enter the Conversion Details | |
| a. | Enter how much stock you are converting. |
| b. | Enter the number of units you want to create. |
| c. | Enter the weight for each unit. |
| d. | Verify that the total amount being converted is accurate, then click Convert Stock. |
| 5. Save the New Package Details | |
| a. | After the conversion, you will be taken to the Package Details page. |
| b. | Review the package information and update the batch number if your state requires a different one. |
| c. | Scroll to the bottom and click Save. |
| 6. Confirm the Conversion | |
| a. | Add the new jar as needed. |
| b. | Return to the Products page and confirm that the new converted product appears with the correct unit count. |
| c. | Confirm that the original package has been emptied out, then archive it, if appropriate. For help archiving the product, see How to Delete / Archive a Product. |
