| Perform a Printer Test on a Star Micronics Printer |
| Use this test to make sure your Star Micronics label printer is working correctly and to locate its IP address. |
| 1. Start the Printer Test |
| Turn the printer OFF. Press and hold the FEED button on the front of the printer, then turn the printer ON while continuing to hold the button. |
| 2. Release the FEED Button |
| The printer test will begin automatically. Once printing starts, release the FEED button and allow the test page to finish printing. |
| 3. Find the IP Address |
| Look near the bottom of the printed test page for the printer's IP address. You may need this address when configuring or troubleshooting the printer. |
| ✅ Done: Your printer test is complete and you have located the printer's IP address. |
