| Update Unit of Measure on Inventory Jar |
| Adjust the unit of measure (UoM) for a package to match how it is sold (by weight in grams or by units/each). Correct UoM ensures accurate pricing, inventory counts, and METRC uploads. |
| 1 • Preparation & Basics |

Verify the UoM in METRC matches how the package is sold (grams vs units). |
| b. |
For unit-based packages, determine the weight of each unit such as 3.5 g for an eighth or 1.0 g per unit. |

Confirm that price per gram or per unit is accurate before editing the package. |
| 2 • Edit UoM in Marijuana Software |
| a. |
Go to Products, locate the product tied to the package, and click the arrow next to its Batch # to open details. |
| b. |
Select Edit on the right side of the package details window. |
| c. |
Change the Unit of Measure dropdown to Grams or Units/Each as needed. |
| 3 • Set Pricing & Save |
| a. |
If switching to units, update the Units field so it reflects how many units remain in the package. |
| b. |
Review and adjust the price per gram or per unit fields to maintain correct pricing. |
| c. |
Click Save to update the package. Verify that inventory counts and pricing display correctly. |
| ✅ UoM updated and inventory/pricing now accurate. |
