Creating a New Product

Create a New Item
Follow these steps to create a new product, intake inventory, and make it available for sale in Marijuana Software.
1 • Create the Product
a.	Go to the Products page.
b.	Click the yellow New button.
c.	Enter the Product Name.
d.	Select the appropriate State Category.
e.	Enter additional product details if desired.
f.	Toggle Web Menu Visibility if the item should appear online.
g.	Click Create.
2 • Complete Package Intake
a.	On the Product Details page, click New Package Intake.
b.	Enter Vendor Information.
c.	Enter the Batch Number and check applicable boxes if this is a Metrc or Medical Product.
d.	Enter Quantity and Unit of Measure (UoM).
e.	Enter Cost of Goods.
f.	Complete any Label Information and additional fields as needed.
g.	Click Save to complete the intake.
3 • Verify Product Availability
a.	Return to the Products page.
b.	Confirm the product appears in your product list.
c.	You can now proceed to Add New Jar for sales.
✅ Your new item has been created and is ready for inventory and sales.
