How do I register for METRC?

Register for METRC – Training & Tags vs. Software Setup
To start using METRC with Marijuana Software, you must complete METRC training and order the required tags for your facility. This guide walks you through registering for training, ordering product and plant tags, and connecting your Marijuana Software account to METRC.
1 • Register for METRC Training
a.	Visit the METRC training portal: https://www.metrc.com/partner/oklahoma/.
b.	Click Training and Info and then View All Trainings.
c.	Select a training date and enter your contact information.
d.	Complete the training. METRC will send you login credentials.
e.	Log in to METRC using the credentials provided.
2 • Order Tags for a Dispensary
a.	You need one METRC product tag for each item you plan to sell.
b.	In METRC, go to TAGS > Orders from the menu.
c.	Place an order for Plant Tags and 1000 Package tags to cover your initial inventory. ➜ Order enough tags to label each item in your dispensary.
3 • Order Tags for a Grow
a.	You need one Plant Tag for each plant in your grow.
b.	You need one Package Tag for each harvested bulk product you intend to sell.
c.	In METRC, go to TAGS > Orders from the menu.
d.	Place an order for Plant Tags and Package tags. ➜ Ordering tags ensures each plant and batch is properly tracked.
4 • Connect Marijuana Software to METRC
a.	Obtain your METRC API key from your METRC account.
b.	In Marijuana Software, navigate to Account > METRC API Key and enter your key to link your account. ➜ See the related article on obtaining an API key for detailed instructions.
