Use the METRC Discrepancy Report
Use the METRC Discrepancy Report to identify discrepancies between Marijuana Software and METRC package counts. This report helps you adjust counts quickly using the Correct OMMPOS and Correct METRC buttons.
1 • Run the Discrepancy Report
a.
Log in to your Marijuana Software account.
b.
Navigate to the Reports page from the main navigation.
c.
Select the METRC Discrepancy Report.
2 • Review Listed Discrepancies
a.
Each entry shows differences between Marijuana Software and METRC package counts.
b.
Identify the correct count for each discrepancy.
3 • Correct Counts
a.
If METRC has the correct count, click the Correct OMMPOS button and confirm the prompt to adjust Marijuana Software's count.
b.
If Marijuana Software has the correct count, click the Correct METRC button. Provide a reason for the adjustment in the prompted field, then confirm to adjust METRC's count.
4 • Finalize & Verify
a.
Continue until no discrepancies remain; the report should ideally be empty when all discrepancies are resolved.
b.
Check this report regularly for compliance assurance and to catch any discrepancies early.
c.
Contact support if you encounter unresolved discrepancies or need assistance.
✅ Discrepancies resolved and counts updated in both systems.
