| How to find active package history in Metrc |
| This guide explains how to search for an active package by its batch number in Metrc and view its history to reconcile discrepancies with your POS. |
| 1 • Locate the Active Package |

Log into Metrc and navigate to the Packages page. |

Select the Active tab. |
| c. |
In the Tag column header, click the three dots (⋮) and choose Filter. |
| d. |
Under Ends With, enter the last 4–5 digits of the batch number to locate the package. |
| 2 • View Package History |

When the package appears, click the tiny black arrow at the far left of the package name to expand its details. |
| b. |
Select the History tab that appears to view the package’s history. |
| c. |
Review the history entries for the initial packaging, vendor delivery acceptance, and all recorded sales transactions. |
| 3 • Compare Transactions |
| a. |
Compare the sales transactions listed in Metrc with those in your POS to identify any discrepancies. |
| b. |
Look at the API/User column: entries marked User were performed directly in Metrc and must be mirrored in the POS. |
| c. |
Remember: the POS pushes information to Metrc, but Metrc does not push updates back to your POS, so ensure both systems match. |
