| Workflow: Import METRC Packages, Set Pricing & Sell Products |
| This workflow brings packages from METRC into Marijuana Software, assigns prices so they’re ready for sale, and shows how to ring them up. |
| 1 • Import packages from METRC |

Go to Products. |
| b. |
Select METRC Packages. |
| c. |
Click Refresh Packages to pull the latest packages from METRC. |
| d. |
Click Import All to add those packages into Marijuana Software. |
| 2 • Assign pricing & prepare for sale |
| a. |
On the Products page, find the imported package and click its Batch #. |
| b. |
Click Add New Jar to transfer stock to the sales floor (create a jar). |
| c. |
Enter the quantity you’re moving to the jar. |
| d. |
Set the Out‑the‑Door Price or unit price for the jar. |
| e. |
Save to create the jar with pricing. |
| f. |
To record cost, click Click to Edit Package and enter the unit cost (COGS), then save. |
| 3 • Sell products |
| a. |
Open the Sales screen on the POS. |
| b. |
Scan the product’s barcode or search by name to add it to the ticket. |
| c. |
For weight‑based items, weigh the product; for unit‑based items, each scan removes one unit. |
| d. |
Complete the sale as usual. |
| ✅ Packages imported, priced, and ready to sell. |
