Self Check-In Feature for Customers

Self Check-In Feature for Customers

The Self Check-In feature allows customers to check themselves in from a kiosk by scanning the large barcode on the back of their ID. The system verifies the ID, confirms the customer is over 21, and gives the customer options for saving their information or checking in for a single sale only.

Use Self Check-In
a If your shop uses a kiosk, open the Self Check In page for customers to check themselves in.
b Have the customer scan the large barcode on the back of their ID.
c The system will verify the ID, confirm it is not expired, and confirm the customer is over 21.
d Once the customer receives the green light, they can review the information pulled from the ID and correct anything that was not captured accurately.
e If the customer wants to be marked as a marketing contact, they can select the marketing contact checkbox.
f The customer selects Save and Check In to save their information, create a customer profile in the database, and check in for a sale.
g The customer selects Check In Only if they should only be checked in for a single sale. This does not save their information or create a profile in the database. This option is important for states that require consent before collecting personal customer information.
The customer is now checked in either with a saved customer profile or as a single-sale check-in only, depending on the option selected.
